Digital products
The difference between a site that describes your business and one that runs part of it. Usually this is a booking flow or an ordering system, and usually it replaces a phone call.
A brochure site tells someone what you do. A digital product lets them do something — book the slot, place the order, check where their job is up to — without a person on your side having to be involved.
For Fisherman’s Chips that meant online ordering placed front and centre, so a customer could browse the full menu and order in a few taps during the exact window when the phone ringing costs the kitchen the most. The principle generalises: find the transaction that currently requires a human, and see whether it genuinely needs one.
Fit
When this is the right job — and when it isn’t
We’d rather lose a project at this stage than sell you one you don’t need. The right-hand column is the honest half.
- Taking bookings or orders by phone is eating hours you’d rather spend on the work
- Customers ask you the same status question repeatedly and you have no way to show them
- You’re paying per-booking fees to a third-party platform that also owns the customer relationship
- Your busiest hour is the one where you can least afford to answer the phone
- Your volume is low enough that a phone call is genuinely fine. Building a booking system to handle four enquiries a week is a waste of your money
- An off-the-shelf tool already does this well for your trade and you just haven’t set it up. We’ll point you at it
- The process you want to automate isn’t settled yet. Automating a process you’re still changing weekly makes it harder to change
Scope
What’s included
The flow itself
Booking, ordering or account journeys designed around the shortest path to done, on a phone, with as few fields as the job actually requires.
Payments where needed
Deposits, full payment or nothing at all — taking a deposit is the single most effective no-show reduction available to most service businesses.
Notifications that reach you
The order or booking lands where you’ll see it during a working day, not in a dashboard you check on Fridays.
Yours to keep
You own the flow and the customer relationship, rather than renting both from a marketplace that charges per transaction.

Questions
Straight answers
Can you integrate with the system I already use?
Usually. Tell us what you’re running and we’ll be straight about whether integrating is the right call or whether you’d be better off replacing it — sometimes the honest answer is that your existing tool is fine.
Do I need to take payment online?
Not necessarily. It’s worth it where no-shows cost you real money, and unnecessary where your customers reliably turn up. We’ll scope it either way.
