The brief
Hair We Cut is a barber shop built around a distinct, sharp visual style, and the brief was a site that carries the same character rather than a generic template that could belong to any shop on any high street.
The trade shapes the rest of it. Barber decisions happen in the moment: someone’s already out, decides they need a cut, and searches on their phone for somewhere nearby. That means the site has to load quickly on mobile data and answer two questions immediately — what does it cost, and how do I get in — before the moment passes.
The build
We built a lightweight, fast-loading site that matches the shop’s own style: sharp, simple, and built for someone deciding where to get a cut while they’re already out and about.
Services and pricing are laid out clearly and immediately, so a customer can decide to visit without calling first. The whole design is optimised to load quickly on mobile data, since that’s where the overwhelming majority of barber searches and bookings happen, and the visual treatment reflects the shop’s actual identity rather than a stock template.
The outcome
Hair We Cut has a fast, mobile-first site that shows services and pricing clearly upfront, so a potential customer can decide to visit without needing to call and ask.
Its speed and simplicity are built for the moment-of-intent search that drives most barber bookings, and the design gives the shop a web presence that looks like the business it actually is.
